This is no flickfire missile—these sleek projectiles can be fired forcefully from LEGO’s spring-loaded shooters, but that’s not the only use for these elements. With plenty of interesting variants such as a water themed missile and a missile with a grappling hook component, this part has been used by @bluebuilder_lego to represent glowing energy, and by Sam J.J. on Flickr to represent magical spells. Meanwhile, Thomas Gion on Flickr uses it to represent a weapon from the video game Fallout 4, @thisonebrick creates the yards of a square-rigged sailing ship, and @funnytacobunny on Rebrickable uses it to represent a microscale version of the iconic Parisian building Centre Pompidou.

Which of these is your favourite? Have you used the spring shooter missile creatively? One way I can think of is as icicles or stalactites in a cave, or perhaps a water fountain.
