#719 Favourite Brick Friday: 24246 1x1 Half Circle Tile

This week's favourite brick is the 1x1 half circle tile, a fairly new piece introduced in 2016. It's part of the 1x1 tile family and therefore is great for adding some details and textures in wall and flooring techniques.

Ragni Norgrimson on Flickr however has found an ingenious use for it. Normally the technique used to 'bend' the bricks into a curved shape utilises 1x1 cylinders, but these leave unsightly gaps, so Ragni uses the favourite brick to create much smaller gaps yet still angle the bricks. It is very parts extensive especially at the scale he uses it, but we think it would be equally useful for smaller applications of the same technique.
