These characters are instantly recognisable, thank to Chris' great use of a range of parts for the small details. These help bring each sketch alive, and the inclusion of brick-built pencils is a great touch too.
It's an interesting way of building, as the photo is taken directly from above. This means that most of the piece's height is lost, although there is still some shadow that creates a cool 3D effect.
